We had passed by this fiat a year ago and left a note, it was returned with the story that the neighbor had dibs. Fast forward a year and another note left, same story given. This time with more balls than brains we pounced on it. A gentleman counted the cash and made quick work of the transaction. We hauled it home and then started to look at how cool the is the lay out of the gauges, the farina tags on the hardtop and the swoop body lines. The similarities to an alfa are fun to spot, the stick shift pointing out of the floor, the patterns on the wheels and covers and more. There is a brand new soft top in the car, the front bumper with bumperettes is also here, needs a rechrome though. This car is well preserved thanks to the hardtop, because it has been neglected. It has been a decade since the peppy little engine fired. Thats an eternity in italian car years. A 6 banger ford would fire right up. We will try for ignition but as of now the key has not been turned in the switch. The trunk won’t stay down, the console lid hasn’t appeared and there is one hubcap shy of a full set. This car is not rusty and the resto should be straight forward and you don’t have to be a super pro to see this one thru. We love this little cabrio and hope you do to
