The speedometer reads 24,409, but actual reading is 42,409. In 1980 (07-10-1980) the Ford Dealer installed a New speedometer, with a  sticker on drivers door jamb which reads, Add 18,073 to the reading. I have the original sticker in my registration folder. As with many other Pantera owners, I added up dates to my car first of which was an outside fuel filler door and related parts, hoses, 1973 engine screen, and other needed parts. Also added S/S coolant pipes, tanks, hoses, clamps, radiator, large fans with 50 Amp relays with coolant sensors. Replace A/C compressor with a Sanden (508 compressor) new hoses, expansion valve, receiver drier, and fittings with R-134 freon. I re-built the brake calipers, installed with a new master/cylinder, brake pads, S/S frt. and rear brake hoses and new fluid. Powdered coated front suspension complete, powder coated frt. stabilizer, installed new a- arm bushings, front and rear. Removed the rack and pinion, installed with new bronze bushing, cleaned and check bearing, installed new tie rods, boots and fluid, aligned front end. Installed new Koni shocks, new springs front and rear, with New 17″ inch rims, with new Kumho tyres,315x35x ZR 17 rears, with 245×40 ZR 17 fronts. The interior is all original, except the floor carpet witch was replaced. New floor mats, coloured red to match the car. Other mods to many to list. I had the wing installed in 1983, not for everyone, but works for me at the time, I like it.  My Pantera is not a show car, but a great driver.
