This is a 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000.
It has been extensively restored in 2017 and has 43,780 miles. This is a beautiful example that has number matching engine and transmission. The wheels are GTA Strada type alloys.
The restoration in 2018 included:
Removal and reseal complete engine:
- Detail engine assy. and associated parts
- Remove and reseal transmission assy.
- Remove drive shaft and replace center support
Rebuild front suspension:
- Tie rod, ball joints, idler arm, shocks, coil springs & suspension bushings
Removed rear differential, reseal and reinstall:
- Rebuild rear suspension (bushings, straps and stoppers)
Drain fuel tank and refill, replaced fuel injection pump filter, fuel injection pump belt & hoses
Steering box assembly resealed
Replaced front and rear brake pads and rotors:
- Bearing removed and repacked
- Brake hoses replaced
Replaced plastic shift knob and e-brake handle with wood
Interior restoration:
- Front and rear leather seats
- New carpet
- New headliner
Body restoration:
- Repainted original color
The car looks and runs fantastic, it needs nothing.
