gorgeous 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV. The Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV was introduced in 1971, exclusively in Europe. These cars would not appear in the U.S. market until 1972. The reason for the late arrival was emissions, but Alfa Romeo was able to meet emission requirements by using SPICA fuel injection. The GTV was sold in America until 1974 when regulations for bumpers and emissions were stiffened yet again; but in Europe, it was sold until 1977.
