You’re viewing my 1989 Alfa Romeo Spider Quadrifoglio convertible. Both tops. Soft top is like new. Clear plastic rear window. Paint looks great (older respray but done well). A few minor dings that any paintless dent removal guy can remove. One blister by driver’s side front headlight. No rust. Solid floors and frame.
Like new tires. Excellent brakes. New clutch master and slave cylinders. Lowering springs in front and rear have been installed, but original springs will be included in the sale if you wish to put it back to stock ride height. Car was lightly restored and engine rebuilt a few years ago. Engine does not smoke. Don’t let the miles scare you. Runs beautifully! Has NEVER left me stranded. Starts up every time with the first blip of the key. I would literally drive my car across the country without hesitation. I would personally rather have a well maintained car that’s been driven regularly over the years than jone that has sat and rarely been used, allowing seals and hoses to dry, crack, and eventually fail. Remember, this car is nearly 30 years old so an average of a little over 10k miles a year isn’t crazy high.
The Quadrifoglio has a unique look with special rockers, wheels, and hardtop. Having the hardtop is a nice option for cool Fall/Winter days. Plus it gives the car a whole new look! Car has factory AC but I’ve never used it. More than likely will need charged.
Interior looks great with recovered seats in black vinyl. They’re not the original grey leather ones, but I personally feel the black looks so much better and by now most of the original grey seats are in such poor shape they really kill the beauty of the car. The original red carpet is a little faded in some spots but still looks good overall. Dash has a fitted cap and looks great…if you didn’t know, you couldn’t really tell. Grant GT wood steering wheel is really nice. 5 speed tranny shifts well but occasionally the synchros (very typical) are a little finicky into 2nd and 3rd on quicker shifts. Custom exhaust sounds great. Needs nothing to be enjoyed right away. Super fun car that’s very rare, never seen on the roads anymore, and relatively inexpensive to own.
I’m only selling this and a few others from my collection so we can add an addition onto our river house (we’re adopting our two foster boys in the upcoming months and we need more room). Please only bid if you are a serious buyer with readily available funds, and you have permission from your significant other. I require a $500 PayPal deposit immediately following the auction and final balance bank wired within 3 business days. Zero feedback bidders must contact me prior to bidding or you will be cancelled and blocked. I have had too many bad experiences in the past. I will consider ending early for the right price. I will also sell overseas
