We acquired this Maserati Tipo M138, otherwise known as a Coupe Cambiocorsa from a new car store who received it as a trade in. It runs and drives beautifully with no warning lights or issues whatsoever. We took it to the local Maserati dealer to have a thorough inspection done and found that the clutch is 84% worn. It was last completed at about 21k miles. The clutches typically last about 15k miles in these cars so the CLUTCH WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED in the near future. With that being said, it drives and shifts through all the gears without issue as it stands. We simply want to disclaim that the clutch is an expense you will need to account for over the next few thousand miles. Tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sports all around with a lot of tread remaining. Engine is a 4.2L V8 producing 390hp at 7,000rpm, manufactured by Ferrari in Italy. This particular car is equipped with the optional Cambiocorsa transmission, which is Italian for “race change” – an electrohydraulic manual transmission that utilizes Formula 1 racing technology coupled with paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. Four driving modes are available: Normal, Sport, Auto and Low Grip. The Normal driving mode provides a comfortable driving experience while the Sport mode stiffens the suspension and makes the shifts quicker, allowing for an exhilarating experience that is similar in quality to that of a Ferrari 360 F1.
