a Fine 1962 Alfa Romeo 101 Spider. Ground up Restoration completed in late 2009. Since then it has been used for weekend drives and the occasional Trackday. Vehicle Specifics are as follows:: Engine: 2 liter aluminum block bored 40 over, 12.5:1 Compression. Custom rods, pistons, Built by Wes Ingram WA. stage 3 race head. Built by Steve Hanaford WA. Accusump oil system. Race prepped oil pump and windage tray. Dual 45mm Weber Carburetors with custom spacers to improve power output. Available from Alfa Romeo Vintage Racing. Tuned and dyno’d with 200+hp. 7000rpm shift. ATL fuel Cell, Accusump, MSD Ignition and Coil. Wiring replaced with American Autowire. Tranmission: Alfa 5 speed manual, Sach’s aluminum clutch. Custom Short shift selector, One piece drivleline Rear Differntial : 105/115 conversion aluminum center section with a race prepped limited slip differential with 4:56 gears Suspension :Lowered springs front and back with Koni adjustable shocks. 1 inch sway bar and chrome moly rear adjustable lower control arms from Alfa Romeo Vintage Racing. Brakes: 4 wheel disc brakes Alfa Rear, Wilwood front drilled and slotted rotors. Carbon Metallic pads, manual bias and stainless lines. Wheels and tires: Pana Sport 15×6 wheels glass beaded and powder coated clear for a unique natural finish. Wheels are mounted with Toyo R888 race tires Chassis: Race upgrades include, custom floor pans, trunk pan, transmission tunnel, sill plates, driveline loops, sub frame connectors and chrome moly roll bar. All components were added to stiffen the unibody construction and improve the structural integrity of the car. Bodywork: Body was stripped to bare metal and all problem areas replace with new hand worked metal. All pinch welds were removed and smoothed to enhance the fine Italian lines. Front grill area was simplified to remove weight and smooth the lines. Rear bumper removed, license plate recessed into the deck lid. The interior dash was smoothed and Lexan front windscreens added. Interior: Custom Procar vintage race seats covered with saddle ultra leather. Black Wilton Wool carpet. Crow Belts, Nardi Wheel, polished column, Autometer vintage gauges and halon fire extinguisher finish the interior.
